Quality Assurance Coordinator

Position Overview This position is responsible for a variety of tasks assigned, including decision making for release-related tasks and assigning work to appropriate queues for proper entry processing. The role requires performing live/quota entries, FDA/FWS entries, scrolling, voids/deletes, and voluntary entries using computer skills in a Windows environment. Perform live/quota entries, FDA/FWS entries, scrolling, voids/deletes, and voluntary entries in a Windows environment. Maintain uniform business practices and procedures to ensure compliance with customs, CBP, OA, and FedEx Express expectations. Analyze documentation to determine tariff classification and special tariff treatment, apply NAFTA, reduced duty rates, and ensure government agency regulations are followed. Submit or transmit required information electronically and complete classification of imported merchandise. Contact customers to resolve classification questions or obtain required government documentation. Release and classify aged shipments after obtaining all missing information or moving to the proper queue. Answer inquiries from FedEx Express and customers about clearance status. Access internet, FedEx systems, customer databases, spreadsheets, and manifest scrolling. Communicate with customers, CBP, and other agencies to obtain necessary information. Analyze unapplied cash and non-payments using accounting systems and make necessary adjustments. Process monthly and additional invoices to FedEx Express. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Two years of business experience required, one year related business experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of CBP regulations and harmonized tariff. Ability to analyze data and information and make sound decisions in a time-sensitive environment. Strong organizational skills to complete multiple duties and meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and office equipment. Detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and able to work on a team. Preferred Qualifications Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, hybrid; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Memphis, TN.
