Sales Developer - Business Development - Services Sector

Location: Washington DC / East Coast USA Capgemini is seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales / Business Developer to lead business growth in our Engineering, Research & Development (ER&D) division for the CPRS – Services Sector business. This role is central to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and requires a strategic, customer focused approach to expand our market presence. Key responsibilities: Identifying and cultivating new business leads, driving growth through both short and long-term opportunities. Building relationships with key prospects and clients and becoming their trusted partner and advisor. Leading and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to craft compelling, tailored solutions that optimally showcase Capgemini’s outstanding value proposition. Applying solution-selling methodologies to strongly position Capgemini Engineering across a range of offerings around mechanical engineering, software engineering, embedded software, systems engineering, connectivity, supply chain, and asset management. Representing Capgemini’s strategic differentiators with confidence and expertise, ensuring our solutions meet clients’ evolving needs and drive innovation. Required Skills Minimum 9 years validated experience in new business development. Experience selling engineering services. Prior experience selling in the Services Sector- (Logistics, Distribution, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction), Airlines, Professional Services (selling to Global Consulting firms), and Government. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in engineering. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. A consultative approach to selling, with a strong focus on delivering tangible, outcome oriented solutions. Ability to travel up to 20%.
