The Security Project Manager is responsible for the setup and review of all installation projects as assigned to them within the Security Division. They will be responsible for developing a comprehensive project plan that guides team members to successfully complete the project within scope and budget. The Security Project Manager is responsible for the review and management of all costs associated to their project; completing both project billing and WIP adjustments in a timely manner. They will be responsible for all client correspondence and meetings to provide project status. Responsibilities are not limited to but will include advance project troubleshooting and programming; project contract review, procurement of project materials, budget and cost monitoring, team performance and development. Duties and Responsibilities Creates and manages project plans, including timelines, budgets, and staffing assignments. Oversees final project inspections before AHJ inspections to ensure work meets code, contract requirements, and company quality standards. Performs site visits to confirm projects stay within scope and company standards, and reviews any out-of-scope work requests. Tracks project budgets, manages financial changes, submits change orders, updates WIP, and ensures timely billing. Supports Account Executives with estimates, proposals, and job walks by providing technical and installation expertise. Helps build and maintain strong client and business relationships. Develops onboarding plans for new employees and coordinates required training or certifications. Conducts performance reviews and regularly communicates expectations and feedback to team members. Reviews and approves employee timesheets and expense reports, ensuring payroll deadlines are met. Attends meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements 8+ years in construction and/or low voltage installation 5+ years installing security systems in a commercial environment 5+ years in a leadership/project management role High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Proof of valid car insurance Manufacturer & continuing education training Associates in Business Management (preferred) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred) Electrical Mechanic Trade School (preferred) Security/MfG Systems certifications (required)- Specific industry experience may and can be considered in lieu of required certifications. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day, daily. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
