Blue Palms Health & Rehab Center of DeLand is looking to hire compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN). The ideal candidates will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring that all healthcare services are administered with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients. This position demands strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient safety and well-being. ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and document medical histories and symptoms accurately.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and side effects.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and post-discharge care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless healthcare delivery.
Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in patient conditions or emergencies.
Maintain compliance with facility policy and procedures and healthcare regulations to promote patient safety.
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing procedures, and healthcare protocols.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
