As a Security Officer Unarmed Relief in Jupiter, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and utility industry requirements.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with traffic and gate activity as needed, and completing required reports related to security-related events and/or patrol findings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
