Keep St. Louis Working.CPAY Staffing & Recruiting is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our team and specialize in recruiting for manufacturing, warehouse, production, and skilled labor positions throughout the St. Louis area.This is a fast-paced, people-focused role for someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems, and making things happen.As a Staffing Specialist, you'll work directly with job seekers to understand their experience, skills, availability, and goals, then connect them with employers looking for dependable talent. You'll recruit for positions ranging from entry-level production and warehouse roles to experienced machine operators, forklift operators, maintenance technicians, skilled trades, and other industrial positions.Previous recruiting experience is not required. We'll teach the right person the staffing industry and how to recruit effectively.What matters most is your drive, communication skills, work ethic, persistence, organization, and ability to connect with people.Schedule & AvailabilityOur regular office hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Because staffing involves supporting people and businesses whose operations often extend beyond traditional office hours, there may occasionally be situations that require responding to a candidate or client phone call, text, or time-sensitive issue during an evening or weekend.This is not intended to be a regularly scheduled evening or weekend position. We take the time to understand what our clients need and what our candidates are looking for so we can create stronger, longer-lasting employment matches.We specialize in connecting businesses with dependable talent while helping job seekers find opportunities where they can succeed and grow.What You'll DoAs a Staffing Specialist, you'll manage the day-to-day recruiting process for light industrial and skilled labor positions, including:Recruit candidates for manufacturing, warehouse, production, distribution, skilled labor, and related industrial positionsSource candidates through job boards, our applicant tracking system, referrals, social media, networking, and other recruiting channelsConduct high-volume outbound calls and texts to connect with prospective candidatesInterview candidates to understand their work history, skills, shift preferences, transportation, availability, pay expectations, and career goalsEvaluate candidates for positions such as production associates, warehouse workers, forklift operators, machine operators, assemblers, maintenance technicians, skilled trades, and other industrial rolesMatch qualified candidates with positions based on their experience, abilities, schedule, location, and career interestsClearly communicate job responsibilities, schedules, pay rates, workplace expectations, and hiring processesCoordinate interviews, onboarding, start dates, and other steps throughout the hiring processMaintain consistent communication with candidates before and after placementFollow up with employees and clients to help identify and resolve potential issues before they become larger problemsBuild and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openingsDevelop relationships with candidates so CPAY becomes a trusted resource when they are looking for their next opportunityMaintain accurate candidate notes, recruiting activity, and employment information within our ATSWork closely with the CPAY recruiting team to prioritize urgent openings and meet client hiring needsBalance multiple open positions, candidates, interviews, start dates in a fast-moving staffing environmentConsistently work toward recruiting, placement, and retention goalsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:People-oriented: You genuinely enjoy talking with people from different backgrounds and experiences.A strong communicator: You're comfortable spending a significant part of your day on the phone, texting candidates, conducting interviews, and following up.Driven by results: You enjoy having goals and are motivated by successfully filling positions.Persistent: Recruiting requires follow-up.
