Ecommerce Operations Analyst

Position Overview

Wild Fork Foods is looking for an Ecommerce Operations Analyst to run the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce delivery business across the United States and Canada. Wild Fork fulfills online orders from our own stores through a network of last-mile delivery partners, and this role keeps that machine running: delivery schedules, delivery zones, packaging supply, carrier performance, and the analytics and financial tracking behind all of it.

This is not a traditional analyst seat. Our Ecommerce team operates with AI agents and automation carrying much of the repetitive work, and this role works the same way: using AI tools daily to analyze, report, automate, and expand what one person can own. You will report to the Head of Ecommerce, Digital & Operations, who owns strategy, carrier contracts, and network design. You own execution.

Ecommerce runs on weekends and holidays. This role occasionally responds to delivery incidents and executes holiday schedule changes outside normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Execution
  • Manage delivery and pickup availability across all US and Canada stores: open, close, and adjust delivery windows for holidays, store closures, weather, and local events.
  • Own ZIP code and delivery zone assignments, execute zone changes, and run the ecommerce setup for new store openings, including notifying Marketing and Supply Chain of trade area changes.
  • Manage ecommerce packaging supply for the US and Canada: vendor ordering portals, stock-out escalations, seasonal ordering guidance to stores, and the packaging SOPs and barcode standards stores follow.
  • Configure and troubleshoot in-store pickup, including order edge cases.
  • Run the ecommerce side of operational incidents: close affected delivery windows, adjust delivery zones, and communicate with Customer Service and store teams.
• Carrier Operations
  • Manage day-to-day performance of our last-mile delivery partners: on-time delivery, driver acceptance, and service quality by store and region.
  • Run carrier escalations, hold partners to service level agreements, and pursue credits where service fails.
  • Support carrier evaluations and the onboarding of new delivery partners with data and operational coordination.
• Analytics, Reporting, and Financial Tracking
  • Reconcile carrier invoices each period: validate order counts, resolve disputes, and submit shipping and packaging expense to Accounting by store and carrier.
  • Own the accrual process for shipping, packaging, and gel pack costs, ensuring accurate financial tracking through period close.
  • Forecast gel pack and packaging usage to prevent shortages and overages.
  • Track and report operations KPIs, including on-time delivery, delivery cost per order, packaging cost per order, and gel pack usage, and publish scorecards to store teams and leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support network, carrier, and delivery zone decisions.
• System and Process Improvement
  • Act as the ecommerce operations point of contact for our order management system: load delivery schedules, validate operational reports, and triage defects with IT and delivery partners.
  • Build and maintain automations with AI tools, and document processes so they survive handoffs.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and fix them.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in ecommerce, logistics, retail operations, or an analytical role.
• Hands-on daily use of AI tools (assistants, agents, LLM-based automation) applied to real work such as analysis, reporting, and process automation. Be ready to show examples.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau), SQL, or Python is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail: this role’s numbers feed store P&Ls and vendor payments.
• Clear communicator who can work with store teams, carriers, Finance, IT, and Customer Service in the same day.
• Comfortable owning many small moving pieces at once and being accountable for the outcome.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000;
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
