Job Description:
As a Delivery & Validation Business Analyst, you will support application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, and other enterprise technology projects. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are accurately documented, solutions align with business objectives, validation activities are successfully executed, and business readiness is achieved prior to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements, business rules, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop current-state and future-state process documentation, gap analyses, impact assessments, and dependency analysis artifacts.
• Evaluate proposed solutions against business requirements, constraints, and intended outcomes to identify gaps and risks.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, solution designs, validation activities, defects, changes, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Develop business validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate UAT activities, test schedules, business testers, defect tracking, validation results, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Support business and operational readiness efforts for application releases, technology upgrades, migrations, infrastructure changes, and production cutovers.
• Assess stakeholder impacts and create training materials, job aids, communications, and adoption resources as needed.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, developers, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Independently manage analysis activities, priorities, risks, issues, and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong experience supporting application modernization, technology upgrades, infrastructure initiatives, system migrations, and enterprise technology projects.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and traceability management.
• Experience developing business process models, workflow diagrams, current-state and future-state assessments, and gap analyses.
• Strong knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, defect management, and stakeholder acceptance processes.
• Experience creating and executing requirements-based test scenarios, validation plans, and test case documentation.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar project, requirements, and test management platforms.
• Experience supporting release readiness, production deployments, cutover planning, regression validation, and post-implementation activities.
• Strong understanding of business process improvement, operational readiness, and change adoption practices.
• Exceptional written communication, business documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, identify risks and gaps, and provide well-reasoned recommendations in complex project environments.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
