Re-Melt Operator – 1st Shift

Location: South Beloit, IL

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Schedule: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Re-Melt Operator to join our team in South Beloit, IL. This position works in a foundry environment and is responsible for supporting the melting and processing of metal materials while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operate re-melt and related foundry equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor melting processes and material flow
Load raw materials into furnaces according to work instructions
Perform routine inspections and quality checks
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Follow established safety procedures and operating guidelines
Assist with housekeeping and the cleanliness of the production area
Communicate equipment or process issues to supervisors as needed

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or foundry experience preferred
Ability to work in a hot industrial environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Work Environment

This position is performed in a foundry setting with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and moving machinery. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
