Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Data Modeler/ Architect to join their team. As a Senior Data Modeler/ Architect, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location

Washington, DC/ Chicago, IL/ Denver, CO/ Charlotte, NC/ Addison, TX (5 days onsite every week)

Pay Range

$70/hr

Project Details

Fast‑paced environment, deliver commitments within two‑week sprints

Skillset

Do not need FS experience
Technical leadership
- Hands‑on modeling experience, not just a thought leader
- Previous Data Engineering experience is useful, not just data modeling experience
Data mapping/ lineage
Support work around data dictionaries
Python programming languageWork on Oracle, Hadoop, Starburst platforms

Responsibilities

Consulting on projects/ working with project stakeholders
Partner with data governance team
Understand the data- identity & access management, ALL focused on cyber security data NOT banking data
Develop common information model
Understand integration and migration patterns
Take GIS data and transfer it to other systems
