Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full-Time/Overnight

Overview Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician's orders. Consult physicians on the effectiveness of therapy. Serve as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care. Perform duties as assigned. Position Details Mercy Hospital St. Louis – Respiratory Location: 615 S New Ballas Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141 Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sign‑On‑Bonus incentive up to $10,000. Qualifications Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program. Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license; meets state licensure requirements. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). No prior experience required. Certifications & Physical Demands For emergency room responsibilities, preferred: PALS certification. Physical demands include push, pull, and grip of up to 50 lbs.; pinch up to 10 lbs.; kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment used: all appropriate respiratory care devices. Preferred Qualifications Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Critical care experience. Benefits Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage.
