Purchasing Manager - Production Homebuilder | Roseville, CA A well-established production homebuilder is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for their Roseville/Sacramento division. This role owns the full purchasing and procurement function for the division, driving cost efficiency, trade partner relationships, and options management. Responsibilities:
- Manage all purchasing operations including contracts, budgets, and trade partner negotiations for active communities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and vendors; negotiate pricing and terms to meet budget goals
- Oversee the division options program - selections, pricing, and coordination with sales and design teams
- Partner with construction, land, and finance teams to align purchasing with production schedules
- Track and report on division purchasing metrics, variances, and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with company standards, purchasing policies, and quality requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing/procurement experience with a production homebuilder (national or regional)
- Strong knowledge of residential construction trade partner management and contract negotiation
- Experience managing the options/selections program is a plus
- Highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in BuildPro, NewStar, or similar homebuilder ERP systems preferred
