Overview Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate Physicians to join our growing team across 23 urgent care centers in Northern Virginia. The Physician will provide quality medical care, perform comprehensive exams, diagnose and develop treatment plans, and deliver patient education on disease prevention and management. Responsibilities Complete initial assessments and evaluations of new patients and provide ongoing monitoring while delivering treatment. Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures; authorize and coordinate specialty and ancillary services. Participate in developing preventive health screenings, immunization programs, community outreach, and quality assurance initiatives. Engage in multidisciplinary team activities such as case conferences. Offer in‑service staff development and clinical teaching to trainees rotating through the practice. Maintain a consultative relationship with nurses, social workers, staff clinic nurses, and rehabilitation staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Experience Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program. Licensure Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia. Credentialing Successful completion of the credentialing process by third‑party payors and enrollment as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payer. Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.
