Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

This short-term role focuses on unloading, disassembling, and organizing large staging used for concerts and festivals. You will work closely with an on-site team to safely break down staging structures and prepare all components for storage during the winter season.

• Unload large staging components from trucks and other transport vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Disassemble staging structures used for concerts and festivals using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Organize and sort staging pieces by type and size to prepare them for winter storage.
• Handle and move materials throughout the steel yard, ensuring items are placed in designated storage areas.
• Lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing 50 pounds or more on a continual basis during the shift.
• Follow detailed instructions from team leads and supervisors to ensure work is completed correctly and on schedule.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to complete staging breakdown and storage tasks.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while working in an outdoor steel yard environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, promptly returning tools and equipment to proper locations.
• Perform general production and general labor duties as needed to support daily operations.

• Proven ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds continually throughout the workday.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Ability to follow directions accurately and complete tasks as instructed.
• Experience with general production or general labor work.
• Basic experience using hand tools and hand power tools in a construction or production setting.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to safety procedures.
• High level of attention to detail when disassembling and organizing staging components.

• Background in construction, production, or similar hands-on work environments.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliability and punctuality for the duration of the one-month contract.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

This one-month contract offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, event-focused environment where teamwork, safety, and reliability are highly valued. You gain hands-on experience with large-scale staging systems, develop practical skills with tools and materials, and work outdoors in a setting that keeps each day active and engaging.

The role is based in an outdoor steel yard where large staging components are stored and handled. Work is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy materials. You will use hand tools and hand power tools and work closely with a team to safely disassemble and organize staging. Conditions can vary with the weather, and you should be comfortable working outside and in an industrial yard environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Colorado Springs,CO.
