Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Join our dynamic team in a critical access facility located in a rural area with a total of 25 beds. We support various patient needs, focusing on geriatric care and recovery.
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Dementia
- Dependent older adults
- Diabetes
- Rehab and restorative care post-acute illness
- IV medication and fluid/blood administration
- COVID-19 cases
- Wound care
- Initial care of trauma patients in the Emergency Room
- Exacerbation of chronic illnesses
- Understanding of dementia and stroke care
- Expertise in skin care for geriatric patient populations
- Ability to titrate IV drips, including electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions
- 12-hour shifts: 0645-1915 and 1845-0715
- Self-scheduling available with block scheduling upon request
- Weekend requirement: Every other
- Holiday requirement: Alternating, typically every other holiday
