Our client seeks a strategist and executor who will serve as both Chief of Staff and Business Transformation Consultant. You will drive strategic execution internally while advising clients on organizational and technical change. You will diagnose complex problems, align stakeholders, and implement solutions that bridge technology and business, with a focus on AI strategy and practical delivery.

 

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

 

Rate: $110.00 to $120.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Drive execution of strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Coordinate between business units and functions when priorities conflict.
• Serve as trusted advisor to leadership on strategic decisions and organizational challenges.
• Manage stakeholder relationships.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and fix them.
• Facilitate difficult conversations and resolve conflicts across functions.
• Diagnose organizational and technical problems that clients cannot solve alone.
• Design and implement solutions that bridge technology and business reality.
• Identify where organizational structure is blocking progress and help fix it.
• Work directly with teams to implement solutions.
• Advise leadership on technology and organizational direction.
• Guide AI strategy, including value identification and integration into existing systems.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven ability to navigate friction between engineering and business teams.
• Credible communication with engineers, product leaders, and executives.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and fixing organizational problems.
• Understanding of how organizational structure and technical decisions influence each other.
• Background in strategic advisory, Chief of Staff, or VP Strategy roles.
• Comfort with executive-level conversations and stakeholder management.
• Ability to see patterns across organizations and balance short-term execution with long-term thinking.
• Strong AI and LLM expertise, with knowledge of capabilities, limitations, and agentic systems.
• Focus on implementation, with speed and quality, and decision-making under incomplete information.
• Preferred: Consulting background across multiple organizations.
• Preferred: Track record building modern product and engineering capabilities in enterprises.
• Preferred: Experience managing cross-organizational strategic initiatives.
• Preferred: Background in regulated industries or complex organizations.
• Preferred: Experience with board, investor, or partnership relationships.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
