Business Development Representative

Business Development Executive

The role of a Business Development Executive (BDE) in the property restoration and disaster recovery industry is critical for driving revenue and establishing long-term partnerships. A successful BDE acts as the primary liaison between the restoration company and key stakeholders, including insurance carriers, property managers, adjusters, and commercial facility owners. The primary objective is to secure a steady stream of referral business and formal service agreements that guarantee priority response and revenue generation. This document outlines the core responsibilities of a Restoration Business Development Executive, with a specific focus on the strategies and duties involved in getting service agreements signed by customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiation and execution of formal service agreements
  • Managing the entire sales pipeline, from initial prospecting to contract execution and ongoing account management
  • Utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for tracking and organization
  • Ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction and secure repeat business

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:

  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
