Our therapists enjoy flexible schedules tailored to their personal lives while ensuring optimal patient care during our operational hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:Conducting detailed patient assessments to determine functional limitations and develop customized treatment plans that align with each patient's goals.Utilizing a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities, to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.Providing education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises and home care recommendations to ensure continuity of care.Instructing Physical Therapy Assistants and engaging in interdisciplinary discussions to provide a holistic approach to patient treatment.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation that meets organizational policies and regulatory standards to ensure quality assurance.Engaging in continuous learning and professional development by staying current with advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based practices.Patient Population / Client FocusYou'll work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain diagnoses. Our clinic attracts patients of various age groups and backgrounds, each with unique rehabilitation needs. With your expertise, you will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life through targeted therapy programs.QualificationsTo qualify for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position, candidates must meet the following requirements:Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State.A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant clinical rotations in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.Proficiency in application of therapeutic techniques, specifically manual therapy and functional movement assessments is essential.Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.Preferred ExperienceWhile the minimum experience requirement is 1-2 years, we prefer candidates with a background in managing complex orthopedic cases. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and patient management software will be an advantage.Compensation and BenefitsBodySync PT offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, and performance-based incentives that reward your dedication and contributions.
