The Accounting Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the finance team by managing key accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation. This position ensures accurate customer billing and effective coordination with vendors to maintain smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry for financial transactions
- Process invoices promptly and verify their accuracy
- Reconcile accounts to ensure financial consistency
- Manage customer billing and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with vendors to address invoicing and payment issues
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic bookkeeping skills
- Accurate and efficient data entry capabilities
