Shift : 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Receive blade tips in a manufacturing environment and prepare them for transfer to a cleanroom area.
• Use a sand stone to shave and flatten scissor tips, ensuring there are no abnormal bumps or surface irregularities.
• Rub blades on a wet stone to sharpen and refine cutting edges to required specifications.
• Perform grinding and sanding operations on metal components to achieve smooth, consistent finishes.
• Operate grinding and related production equipment safely and efficiently within a machine shop environment.
• Inspect blade tips and finished parts visually and with basic measurement tools to verify quality and conformance.
• Deburr metal parts to remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections prior to further processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following shop safety procedures and proper handling of tools and materials.
• Follow production instructions and quality standards to meet output and performance expectations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beverly, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
