Executive Territory Manager, PCIO - Southern California

Job Overview Abbott – a global healthcare leader – is hiring a Territory Manager, PCIO (Coronary Physiology/OCT) for its Vascular division in Southern California. This field‑based position focuses on clinical selling of coronary physiology and OCT products to interventional cardiologists and supporting commercial activities in hospital settings. Key Responsibilities Lead all clinical selling activity for the assigned territory, focusing on interventional cardiologists to promote the Coronary Physiology/OCT portfolio. Sell on clinical differentiation, value proposition, product launch, physician onboarding, early case coverage, and support commercial selling activity in the hospital. Influence stakeholders within the hospital, drive product utilization, and manage contracting to secure favorable positions in accounts. Develop and implement sales strategies, determining factors such as product, competition, and pricing, and create action plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to meet revenue and unit growth objectives. Build and maintain relationships with hospital personnel, identify key purchasing decision makers, and facilitate sales. Provide sales support activities such as product training, therapy, and education events. Attend trade shows and educational conferences to build networks and maintain technical expertise. Analyze and report on sales figures; submit reports to sales management, projections, and other relevant information. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3–5+ years of related work experience in medical device or therapeutic area. Ability to travel 50% within the assigned region. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience selling in the medical device industry. Compensation & Location Base pay: $78,000.00 – $156,000.00 (may vary by location). Location: United States – California (Remote; Southern California). Work Hours & Travel Work shift: Standard.
