Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Vitality Visions, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify individual mental health needs and risks among students.
\n
• Developing customized treatment plans that incorporate solution-focused interventions and a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a strengths-based approach to empower clients through their challenges.
\n
• Maintaining accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all documentation practices.

• Collaborating with school officials, teachers, and families to create a supportive network around students, enhancing their overall mental health and educational experience.

• Participating in regular treatment team meetings and peer reviews to share insights, improve care strategies, and contribute to continuous professional development.

• Educating clients and their families about mental health symptoms, treatment options, and available community resources to foster informed decision-making.

• Staying informed on current research and changes in mental health practices to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the Garden Grove area, ranging from elementary through high school. You will address a diverse array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and social challenges, aiming to reduce these barriers to academic success and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid LCSW license in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical settings, preferably with an emphasis on youth and school-based interventions.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments and therapeutic techniques relevant to the student population.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, facilitating productive interactions with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a highly competitive salary range of USD 115,000 - 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
