Designer Eyes is seeking an experienced, ambitious, motivated, sales oriented individual with exceptional management skills and customer service skills to join our team as a Licensed Optician. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years eyewear sales experience and finish lab experience. Licensed Opticians must be licensed in the state of Florida. Position Summary

The Licensed Optician position is responsible for merchandising, selling, and eyewear services. Responsible for pre-testing on patients. Makes recommendations about which type of frames or lenses will be best for a particular patient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Eyewear sales
• Finish lab
• Ensure accurate patient information is obtained
• Ensure that correct products are created per specifications per order
• Ability to make recommendations based on prescription, and latest fashion trends and patients' needs
• Ability to manage and lead a team of sales associates
• Compliance with Designer Eye's policies and procedures
• Compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Performs eyewear maintenance as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Licensed Optician in the State of Florida.
• Applicants must have experience in an optical or eye care practice.
• Knowledge of current ophthalmic products and optical measurements required.
• At least two years of experience in industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, bilingual in Spanish will be a plus.
