Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology, scheduling, and patient management within a dental office environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Schedule appointments efficiently using EHR systems such as WinOMS.
• Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries.
• Verify insurance information and handle insurance claims processing.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct documentation reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of medical records.
• Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations of the clinic.
• Handle patient intake processes, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and clinic experience is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and scheduling.
