Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Pay Rate: $50 per hour (based on experience) Accepting Local Candidates Only Position Summary We are seeking a qualified Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager with 5+ years of direct experience who can independently manage site safety operations and partner with project leadership to maintain a safe, compliant job site. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary EHS representative for the General Contractor on site Implement and enforce project-specific safety plans, AHAs/JHAs, and client requirements Perform daily site inspections, audits, and safety observations Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure Lead incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations with root cause analysis Interface with project management, subcontractors, owners’ representatives, and regulatory agencies Conduct site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings Monitor safety trends, metrics, and compliance documentation Support high-risk activities including cranes, rigging, MEWPs, excavation, electrical safety, and LOTO Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction safety experience, representing a General Contractor BCSP certification: STS-C, CHST, ASP, or CSP Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards OSHA 30 required (OSHA 510 preferred) Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor safety compliance Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with safety management platforms (iAuditor, Procore, Predictive Solutions, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
