What You'll Do:

• Assist in a variety of cardiovascular surgical cases, including CVOR, spine, orthopedics, vascular, general, and robotic surgeries
• Prepare operating rooms and sterile instruments
• Ensure aseptic technique and safety protocols are followed
• Assist surgeons during procedures involving complex cardiovascular and vascular cases
• Maintain accurate specimen handling and documentation
• Support equipment setup for robotic and hybrid OR cases
• Float within scope to meet unit staffing needs as required

What You Need:

• Active BLS and NBSTSA certification
• Minimum 2 years experience as a CVOR surgical tech
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular case procedures
• Familiarity with sterile techniques, radiation and laser safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Flexibility to float within scope and work scheduled shifts

About the Assignment:

This position is located in a teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation, equipped with 317 beds and advanced surgical technology. You will provide support in an acute care setting specializing in cardiovascular surgeries, including complex procedures such as TAVR, EVAR, CABG, and more. The hospital features modern facilities, a dedicated team, and a collaborative environment committed to patient care excellence.
