Security Officer Front Desk Graveyard
As a Security Officer Front Desk Graveyard in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will welcome residents and visitors, manage access control, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your professional presence will help support a secure residential environment while representing our agile, reliable, and innovative team. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a multifamily residential location.
- Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
- Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
- Maintain clear written logs and incident reports, communicate shift activity to team members, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional front-desk presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
