Insurance Verification & Billing Coordinator Full-Time | On-Site Position

We are a busy and growing pediatric dental office seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Verification & Billing Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with dental insurance verification, insurance follow-up, and patient billing . Experience working in a pediatric dental practice is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits.
• Obtain and document accurate insurance information.
• Review treatment plans and insurance benefits to determine patient portions.
• Follow up on outstanding, denied, and unpaid claims.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist with patient billing inquiries and account questions.
• Maintain accurate patient insurance and billing records.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies and patients.
• Work closely with the clinical and front-office teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Qualifications:

• Prior dental insurance and billing experience required.
• Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, benefits, EOBs, claims, and reimbursement.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and follow up consistently.
• Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team member.
• Experience with Open Dental software is a plus.
• Pediatric dental office experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday.
• On-site position — this is not a remote position.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
