Computer Systems Programmer (Senior)

: Description: Duties: Create and/or maintain operating systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, repositories, and utility and assembler programs. Modify existing software and develop special purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications. Also, must do the following: A. Comply with all Computer Specialist and Computer Specialist Senior Responsibilities as listed under Section 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 B. Distribute assignments to other Computer Specialist and/or Computer Specialists (Senior) Personnel as directed by the TO Manager. C. Oversee tasks and deliverables assigned to other Computer Specialist and/or Computer Specialist (Senior) Personnel as directed by the TO Manager. D. Provide guidance on environmental and application designs. E. Provide advance analysis and troubleshooting. Requirements: General Experience: Must have 12 years of computer experience in information systems design. Specialized Experience: At least 10 years of experience in IT systems analysis and programming. Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
