Responsibilities

• Serve as project engineer for low- to mid-level facility projects .
• Plan and manage facility construction projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage subcontractors performing electrical, mechanical, structural, demolition, carpentry, painting, flooring, rigging, and millwright work .
• Review contractor proposals, prepare work orders, inspect completed work, and approve payments.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, bids, statements of work, and project documentation .
• Monitor project schedule, budget, quality, and safety .
• Support facility capital planning and annual budget development .
• Conduct area audits and support Safety, Environmental, Risk Reduction, and Sustainability initiatives.
• Submit purchase orders through Oracle-based systems .
• Work with internal customers to resolve technical and facility-related issues.
• Maintain a safe and quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment .
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment .

Preferred Qualifications

• Defense manufacturing experience.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with Oracle or manufacturing database systems .
• Collaborative/team-based project experience.
