Locum Tenens OB Hospitalist Position - Iowa
Position Title: OB Hospitalist
Location: Iowa
Available Positions: 1
Provider Information:- Specialization: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens
- Provider Category: Physician
- Required Credentials: MD
- Board Certification: Board Certified or genuinely board eligible
- Work Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
- Monthly Shifts: Approximately 6.5 shifts
- Specific Dates: May 29 - December 21, 2026
- Case Volume: Around 1,389 OBED visits each year, with approximately 463 leading to deliveries
- Licensing Requirements: Must hold an active medical license in Iowa (no assistance with licensing)
- Patient Demographic: Obstetric patients
- Procedures: Standard OB hospitalist procedures (details available upon request)
- Licensing Flexibility: Must possess an active Iowa license or IMLC
- Projected Start Date: May 29, 2026
- Privileging Timeline: To be determined
