Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from your home while still engaging closely with our team and clients. Regular work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents, identifying unique care requirements and mental health challenges.

• Deliver personalized individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing emotional turmoil stemming from aging and significant life changes.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate and implement comprehensive care plans that align with the specific needs of geriatric clients.

• Educate caregivers, staff, and family members on effective strategies to support the emotional health and quality of life of elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, providing support during challenging end-of-life discussions.

• Design and implement cognitive stimulation interventions and mental health programs that enhance mental acuity and positivity in elderly clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the geriatric population, particularly those grappling with mental health issues related to aging, such as dementia, depression, anxiety, and grief. You will work with diverse individuals, understanding their unique backgrounds and cultural contexts, ensuring that every client receives the respectful and dignified care they deserve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A minimum of four years of direct experience in geriatric counseling and mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 65,000 to USD 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent.
