Senior Project Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Mahwah NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role independently leads engineering implementation activities for strategic capital and manufacturing projects from planning through qualification and release. The Senior Project Engineer will coordinate technical integration across equipment automation manufacturing quality and facilities partnering closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver safe compliant reliable and scalable manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical execution of capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release
• Support Project Managers in the execution of capital projects by coordinating activities tracking action items and communicating with cross-functional teams
• Assist with equipment installations FAT/SAT and validation activities
• Work with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain project documentation
• Spend time in both the office and on the manufacturing floor to learn the project lifecycle and progressively take ownership of project tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial Biomedical or related field)
• 2-4 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience considered)
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams
• Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated initiative problem-solving skills and a desire to learn
• Medical device experience is highly preferred

Desired skills:

• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing engineering or project-based work
• Experience working in a team environment through school projects internships or extracurricular activities
• Exposure to manufacturing processes automation or robotics
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles
• Experience using Microsoft Project Excel or other project management tools
• PMP Lean Six Sigma or other project management certifications

Pay range: $57.32 - $67.32 per hour
