Senior Category Manager, Chemicals

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Category Manager for Chemicals to lead end-to-end procurement strategy and a team of four. The role focuses on cost efficiency, quality, innovation, and sustainability while partnering across supply chain, quality, R&D, and finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business needs across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons
• Lead team of four and oversee large, complex procurement projects aligned with supply chain strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and cost reduction
• Represent procurement in cross-functional forums and partner with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Manage financial performance including cost avoidance, forecasting, and procurement key performance indicators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of procurement or category management experience
• Expertise in sourcing strategy, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Experience with cost analysis, financial forecasting, and procurement metrics
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality requirements
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• MBA preferred
