Production Manager

Production ManagerThe Production Manager will lead a team of skilled operators and technicians while coordinating closely with sales, engineering, quality, and senior leadership to maintain smooth production flow and deliver high-quality products on schedule. This position requires strong leadership, hands-on problem solving, and experience managing production in a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all daily production activities within the facilityLead and support a team of ~10 operators and techniciansEnsure production schedules are met and jobs are shipped on time while maintaining high quality standardsCoordinate workflow between production, quality control, and sales teamsMonitor machine performance and address equipment issues or downtimeImplement and maintain ISO procedures and quality management standardsIdentify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce costsDevelop production schedules, staffing assignments, and workflow plansTroubleshoot production challenges and resolve issues on the manufacturing floorSupport employee training, cross-training, and skills developmentMaintain compliance with workplace safety policies and proceduresQualifications:5-10 years of experience in a machine shop, job shop, or precision manufacturing environmentPrior experience supervising or managing production teamsStrong understanding of manufacturing workflows and shop operationsExperience working in ISO-regulated manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with shop management software/ERP systems preferredVery strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
