General Summary: This position is responsible for patrolling in the city in an effort to deter criminal activity and to maintain order. Physical Demands: The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stopping, walking, bending, or crouching. The employee frequently lifts light objects, occasionally lifts heavy objects, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, and distinguishes between shades of color.
