Registered Nurse - Inpatient Oncology/Hematology

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered inpatient care in the Oncology/Hematology unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage patients with cancer and related conditions. Key Responsibilities: Conducts initial and ongoing assessments, develops individualized care plans, documents patient progress, and ensures safety and compliance with policies. Participates in clinical research activities, completes mandatory education, and maintains BLS certification. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Nursing diploma or associate’s degree, RN license in New York, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 months of RN experience. Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills are essential. Physical & Additional Requirements: Must meet physical demands typical for medium work, including walking, standing, and lifting. Accommodations are considered for physical limitations. Compensation & Location: The pay range is $38.67 - $51.92 per hour, based in Rochester.
