Part Time Seasonal Sales Associate - Herald Square

We are looking for part time Retail Sales Associates to be the face of our brand during the holidays. Displaying knowledge and passion for our product, you’ll interface with our customers daily and act as a brand champion. We are looking for results driven and motivated associates that will play a part in achieving our sales goals. We are looking for a team player and someone who is excited to support the team in enhancing Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas region. Availability & Scheduling: This is a temporary role for our seasonal period, lasting up to 90 days. All seasonal associates must be available for 4 total days per week, including both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday). Seasonal employees can be scheduled to work up to 28 hours per week. Tentative Start Date: 10/19/2026 (unless otherwise specified) Holidays: During the holidays, some location hours are extended. We require some flexibility to cover shifts as needed. Seasonal associates must also be available for all holidays within their employment period, including Black Friday and the subsequent weekend and during the full month of December. The Sales Assistant helps create memorable experiences that connect consumers to the Dr. Martens brand, culture and craftsmanship. Through elevated service, authentic storytelling, product expertise and craft-based experiences, the role builds meaningful relationships that strengthen loyalty, advocacy and community connection. The role contributes to creating a destination consumers actively choose to visit, engage with and return to. Core Accountabilities Consumer Experience - Creates memorable consumer experiences that connect consumers to the Dr. Martens brand, culture and craftsmanship. Uses product expertise, storytelling and personalised service to build loyalty, advocacy and meaningful brand connection. Commercial Performance - Contributes to store performance through elevated consumer engagement, effective selling behaviours and creation of experiences that encourage loyalty, repeat visitation and deeper brand connection. Operational Excellence - Supports the delivery of a premium destination environment through accurate execution of store processes, craft services, presentation standards and operational requirements. People Leadership - Contributes positively to team effectiveness by role modelling Brand Centre service standards, supporting colleagues and helping create an inclusive and collaborative environment. Communication & Collaboration - Builds strong relationships across the store team and contributes to a culture where product, culture, community and consumer experience come together seamlessly. Key Skills & Capabilities Consumer Excellence - Creates authentic consumer relationships through elevated service, storytelling, product expertise and meaningful brand engagement. Commercial Excellence - Understands how memorable consumer experiences drive commercial performance and consistently demonstrates effective selling and engagement behaviors. Operational Excellence - Executes store processes and experiential activities accurately while maintaining standards that support both consumer experience and operational effectiveness. Leadership & Collaboration - Builds positive relationships, contributes to team culture and supports colleagues in delivering exceptional consumer experiences. Previous retail sales experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a team environment. Multilingual a plus. Demonstrated understanding of basic math, including ability to calculate percentages required and ability to count back change. Ability to use initiative to accomplish tasks and detail oriented. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Punctual in adherence to scheduled shift times. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to carry shoe boxes while climbing a ladder and/or stairs. International/domestic travel not required, 0 % of travel.
