About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years hospital experience required License: CT and RI state licenses required Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - GE & Siemens Equipment experience required - 3D rendering skills necessary - Experience with a variety of CT procedures Description: Candidates who reside at least 50 miles from the facility are encouraged to apply. This position requires working 4x10 night shifts, with call and weekend coverage as needed. The department utilizes GE Optima CT660 scanner. Candidates may be required to float between facilities, and must obtain relevant state licenses. It is acceptable to start working with one license while awaiting the other. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Strong skills in emergency department procedures and various CT applications are essential. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents and geriatrics. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, particularly the EPIC system. Candidates must be able to navigate complex procedures, including biopsies and angiographies. Experience with trauma care in a Level III trauma center is preferred. Additional interdisciplinary support may include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Rapid Response Teams. Compliance with health and safety protocols is required.
