Job Title: Structures Mechanic

Job Description

Perform various structures and sheet metal work, including modifications and repairs on a variety of corporate airframes. Utilize proper hand tools in a timely, clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework. Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed. Prepare various documents for record-keeping purposes, as required by company policy and FAA regulations. Demonstrate proficiency in work order systems by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives Compliance statements, final inspection, and closing of squawks and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform structures and sheet metal work on corporate airframes.
• Utilize proper hand tools safely and professionally.
• Order aircraft parts as required.
• Prepare documentation for record-keeping as per company and FAA standards.
• Complete work orders and discrepancies accurately and timely.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of structures experience on aircrafts
• Experience with corporate or business jets is highly sought after.

Work Environment

Work inside a temperature-controlled hangar with heated floors in winter, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. Shifts include 1st shift (6:00 am - 4:00 pm) and 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 12:00 am) Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. Weekend shifts offer 3-day, 12-hour shifts with a 10% shift differential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LINCOLN, NE.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $45.00/hr.
