Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 08:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 12:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify authorized entry, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Assist with de-escalation, direction, and support during medical emergencies, visitor issues, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining professional interaction with a diverse healthcare population.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
