This experience starts the moment a guest steps onto the parking lot, all the way to taking a seat in the auditorium. A passion for welcoming and connecting with people and mobilizing the hundreds of team members it takes to create a compelling guest services environment is necessary for success in this role. Possess a desire to move and align individuals from interested to invested in a serving opportunity. All this is to live out our mission as a church to Introduce our friends to Jesus, Learn to follow Him, and celebrate His Presence in our lives.ExpectationsBuild relationships - Create partnerships, build trust, share ideas and accomplish work.Develop People - Help others become more effective through expectation and coaching.Lead change - Embrace change and set goals that align with our vision.Inspire others - Encourage others through positivity, vision, confidence, challenges and recognition.Think critically - Gather and evaluate information that leads to smart decisions.Communicate clearly - Share information regularly and concisely.Create accountability - Hold yourself and your team responsible for performance.Primary ResponsibilitiesExperience in how to create a great customer experience to inspire repeat attendancePossess a natural ability for creating engaging environments and events with big picture perspectiveExcels at effective communication, a champion of organization, and refines details for optimal guest service experienceEnjoy organizing project, tasks, and events engaging team members and staff supportScheduling, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory at reasonable levels without waste or excessStrategic in recruiting, developing, and retaining team members specific to Guest Services & Next StepsIntimate knowledge of all on campus ministries and proficiency in utilizing our next steps process to move individuals frominterested to investedPeople development must be a passion in order to engage a diverse team and encourage the team to serve with highenergy and commitment.Maintain accurate records of all team members, team groups, etc. in The Rock and ensure that team leaders have the mostup to date information.Weekly Time Allocation (40 hours): Weekend Service - 20%, Meetings - 10%, Training/Development - 40%, Relational Equity- 30%Personal ResponsibilitiesLive a life worthy of the calling as taught in Ephesians 4Demonstrated follower of Jesus Christ as described in 1 TimothyDevelop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside of the churchFaithfully tithing consistently at least 10% of all personal income to God's work through The Cove ChurchAdhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of The Cove Church employees, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook
