Controls Engineer \n\n
\nWe are looking for a Controls Engineer that will grow to become an expert in our control systems and equipment.\n
\n
\nThis role will be intimately involved in the design and programming of a variety of electrical/PLC/SCADA/robotic control systems. This involvement will be through the whole software/systems life cycle, from design through coding, testing, installation, configuration, and documentation. \n
\n

\nSalary: $100,000 - $110,000\n

Your Challenge \n
\n
- \n
- Responsible for developing electrical, controls, and automation solutions for equipment built in CWST Engineering (Gastonia, NC) \n
- As an integrator, this position will be heavily engaged in the mechanical design and so will need a high degree of competency with mechanical response, trouble-shooting, feedback, etc. \n
- Providing technical support for that equipment as it is deployed in CWST facilities around the world. \n
- Travel to various CWST sites globally for equipment installation as well as success in this position will require a strong understanding of the electrical and mechanical aspects of the machines to provide the appropriate designs in electrical hardware/machine automation. \n
What You Bring \n
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar field. Experience with electrical systems and components (circuit breakers, relays, switches, transmitters, power supplies, etc.). \n
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar or complimentary role \n
- Demonstrated ability to apply sound engineering judgement to resolve technical challenges \n
- Programming experience is desirable - including PLCs, Industrial Automation software, LabVIEW, C++, etc. \n
- Electrical wiring layouts/schematics/diagrams using CAD tools (Solidworks Electrical desirable) \n
- Communication protocols (Ethernet, Profibus, EtherCAT) \n
- Experience in manufacturing processes is desirable \n

- Experience with Siemens and Beckhoff platforms is desired \n
\nWe are also interested in junior engineers with some of the above requirements. Please note the salary range would change for a junior engineer.\n
