GA Telesis – Purchasing Agent, Landing Gear Services – Medley, FL GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries. At our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, FL, we are seeking a Purchasing Agent to coordinate the procurement of aircraft parts, tooling, raw material, and other special procurements. Important Notice: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers based on cost, lead time, and performance. Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers. Prepare purchase orders, ensure accurate specifications, and process part estimates and quotes. Monitor inventory levels and spending to align with the organization’s strategic plan. Track delivery performance, address supplier issues, and resolve quality concerns. Serve as the primary contact between suppliers and internal departments, maintaining clear communication on order status and delays. Maintain accurate purchasing records, including items/services ordered and supplier interactions. Approve invoices for payment, ensuring alignment with purchase terms and delivery. Provide market insights and participate in strategic planning and process improvements. Other duties as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of aviation industry suppliers. Aerospace industry knowledge preferred. Strong negotiation, contracting, analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to compile and present data to facilitate decision making.
