Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Sparrow Company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for a seasonal opportunity in Santa Teresa, NM. This position is ideal for someone who is safety oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities And Duties:

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and move product throughout the warehouse
• Check truck drivers in and out and assist with scheduling and coordination
• Load and off-load freight safely and efficiently
• Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
• Repair and clean damaged product as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, office areas, and surrounding grounds
• Assist with general maintenance tasks
• Support warehouse operations during peak season and special projects
• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity expectations
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines

Requirements And Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of forklift experience required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing daily tasks and priorities
• Reliable transportation required
• Availability to work extended hours during peak season (late April through early August)
