Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Laser Operator for our client. This position is responsible for cutting and forming metal parts using brake or laser equipment. This position follows blueprints, takes accurate measurements, and inspects finished parts to ensure quality.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Operate brake or laser equipment to cut and form metal parts.
- Read and follow blueprints.
- Take accurate measurements of parts.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure finished parts meet required specifications.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- Ability to read and follow blueprints.
- Ability to take accurate measurements.
- Comfortable operating brake or laser equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to inspect parts for quality.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills.
