Description - What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests-covering areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for reliability, identify and troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection and preparation for testing as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff members, and contribute to upholding our lab's quality assurance standards.
• Ensure the laboratory is tidy, safe, and compliant with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is necessary throughout your tenure.
