Virtual Mental Health Counselor

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for licensed, compassionate Virtual Mental Health Counselors to provide 1:1 and small group emotional, behavioral, and academic support to students across the country. What you'll do: Deliver engaging, individualized virtual counseling and support tailored to each student's mental health goals, IEP social‑emotional objectives, and unique psychological profile Create structured intervention strategies and wellness plans that address school-related anxiety, executive dysfunction, depression, behavioral challenges, or social‑emotional learning (SEL) milestones Adapt support in real time based on student crisis levels, engagement, and emotional regulation, providing a safe, empathetic, and confidential virtual space Track student progress and communicate effectively with families, school psychologists, and school district partners to ensure wraparound care and regulatory compliance Why tutors love working with us: Fully remote — tutor from home on your own computer You set your schedule — choose your availability and update it anytime You set your hourly rate — and negotiate per job based on the scope of work Steady opportunities — with hundreds of new students signing up daily, we match jobs to your email based on the subjects and student populations you're best suited for Note: Many of our assignments operate in Pacific Time, so availability during PT hours is a plus.
