Position: Branch Service Manager Location: 2 Rivergreen Drive Job Id: 485 # of Openings: 1 Overview This position oversees daily shop operations, supervises technicians, manages parts inventory, and handles customer service to ensure efficient, safe and profitable repairs. They prioritize work orders, monitor repair quality, ensure safety compliance (OSHA), and drive profitability by controlling costs and increasing shop productivity. Position Responsibilities Direct daily activities, including scheduling, service dispatching, and workflow management. Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate technicians, while fostering a productive, safe, and positive team environment. Act as the primary contact, providing repair estimates, updating customers, and resolving complaints within 24 hours. Monitor service metrics (revenue, efficiency, profitability), manage labor hours, and oversee parts inventory management. Audit for safety compliance, maintain tidy workspaces, and ensure all repairs meet company and DOT standards. Position Requirements Previous experience as a diesel technician and in a leadership role is preferred. Comprehensive understanding of diesel technology, diagnostics, and shop equipment. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, technicians, and parts suppliers. Proficiency with management software and MS Office for invoicing and tracking. Proven ability to coach, manage, and drive high-performance teams.
