Job Title: Welder

Job Description

This is a 1st shift welding and fabricating role, primarily focused on MIG welding based on blueprints. You will be involved in building industrial-sized waste handling equipment, including both standard products and custom work. The position also requires assisting in the assembly department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding based on blueprints.
• Fabricate industrial-sized waste handling equipment.
• Utilize shop equipment such as grinders, drills, and taps.
• Assist in the assembly department when required.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in MIG welding.
• Proficiency in fabrication and custom work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with shop equipment like drills, taps, and grinders.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with TIG welding and structural welding.
• Mechanical ability to assist in assembly.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Work Environment

Work hours are 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime until 4:00pm. The facility is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hopkins, MI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
